Ask The Experts

I just bought 1 pound of Drive 75DF. Can you confirm that a level tablespoon equals 0.367 ounces? Also, for spot spraying, the label recommends 2 tablespoons (1 oz) of MSO per gallon of water. However, 0.55 oz of MSO is specified elsewhere.

Which is correct?

Thanks!

Pendulum® herbicide Success Snapshot

Le Triomphe Golf & Country Club- Broussard, La.

Architect Robert Trent Jones designed Le Triomphe's private, 18-hole championship course in the 1980s and it is now home to the Chitimacha Open and a mainstay on the PGA Nationwide Tour.

Superintendent Scott Poynot manages the course with a 16-person crew, dealing with major challenges of his own – maintaining the course at tournament level while battling regional weeds.

When Poynot began his work at Le Triomphe in 2003, weeds had infested 10 percent of the course and the turf appeared thin and inconsistent. Based on the success he’d seen at his former courses, Poynot integrated Pendulum® herbicide to his rotation. He incorporates the product on a fertilizer carrier and makes split applications from February through October to prevent Poa annua, crabgrass and goosegrass on roughs and fairways.

“I’ve been a super for 10 years and it’s been the backbone of my weed-control program,” Poynot said. “Regarding performance, I’d say we get 95 percent control with Pendulum.”
